I think it will be very helpful and cutting bias bindings. I have an old quilt that was never finished by my grandmother that needs a bias binding. It has a hexie boarder.

Description
Cuts 280 inches of binding out of a half yard of fabric (at 2 1/2" width - more if you use a smaller width).
Yields bias cut strips of binding at various widths, from 1/4" - 2 1/2".
Has a hinge in the middle allowing it to collapse in half for convenient storage and transport.
Made in the U.S.A by Susan Brown, the creator of the Binding Tool.
