Quilting Product Description

Missouri Star has teamed up with Daisy & Grace to bring you this clever Quilt As You Go 2 1/2"Hexagon quilt. It makes hexagons so much fun to piece, and when you're finished, so is your quilt! Each individual hexagon is completed one at a time, so the process is simplified and the results are spectacular! Start with four packages of 5" squares, add 1/4 yard of fabric in a coordinating print, and make sure your batting and backing are ready to go because it all stitches up together. This pattern requires the Missouri Star Quilt As You Go 2 1/2" Hexagon Template Set, designed by Daisy & Grace.

More hexies!

Absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Instructions seem easy enough. Have lots of 5” scrap squares and plan to use them for this project many times

Good to have

Good way to start using your templates. Could maybe have a few more details/photos for those of us who hand sew.

Super fun!

I just got started on this cute pattern using all the fun Christmas fabric in my stash! I just lived Natalie's version on your Triple Playy!

Fun, fun, fun!

This project gives instant gratification. Each hexi is like a mini-quilt. Great if you like smaller projects. I love hexies!

2 1/2" Hexagon quilt as you go

Easy to use, the two patterns for the two different sizes worked very well. I was able to cut the fabric very accurately. I used a decorative stitch to sew the back to the front in contrasting colored thread, then connected the hexagons with zig-zag stitches in the background color. My first project was placemats. Not quite ready to commit to a whole quilt. It sure was easier than doing 1" hexes by hand!
