Looks like linen - but is Super Wonky to sew
The look of this is really quite nice if you have the idea to have a linen-like fabric in your quilt, however like linen, it's rather loosely woven and is incredibly fiddly/wonky to sew. I starched it and squared every block and it still was super wonky. Finally I just decided the quilt would be bear claw wonky stars and moved on. I'm curious how it will longarm, I think I may do a denser pattern than usual as I feel as if it will wear poorly because of the loose weave. However, it really does have an authentic linen look, though I think some linens are woven more tightly.
