Prettier in person!

I was asked to donate a quilt for an upcoming cancer center fundraiser for breast cancer. I chose various pink & raspberry batiks from my stash, but was stumped for my backing. I saw this backing and decided to take a chance on it. It has more green than I was expecting, but I love it. I hope whoever gets the quilt will love it too!

Beautiful!

This is the first time that I have ordered 108 backing, and I have no idea what I will use it on yet, so it is currently part of my stash. It looks so much better in person and I love the color. When I've completed my existing projects, I will be looking for pattern and fabrics to go with this backing. I know that is opposite to the normal way of making a quilt but that's what I plan on doing.

I love this fabric SO much! I bought it to use as backing on a quilt for my daughter, and it just didn’t mix well with the quilt top, so……. I’m going to have to make another one that will compliment this fabric!!!! Darn! I hate it when that happens. (Not really)
