We highly recommend pairing 2.5 inch precut fabric squares with jelly roll fabrics, especially if you are using a solid color as sashing or background fabric (many manufacturers offer solid colors in both sizes make matching oh-so-easy!). Or, you may wish to cut 2.5 inch charms into smaller shapes to use in your quilt blocks.
How many mini charm packs do I need for a quilt?
The answer to this question will vary on the size of quilt you wish to make, and whether or not you will be using mini fabric charm packs exclusively. Since four mini charm packs is equal to one regular size pack of 2.5 inch charms, most quilters tend to make smaller-sized projects if they are not adding yardage or other precut fabrics.
