Q: I just bought this for the backing of a quilt. Should this be prewashed? I’m just concerned about the red color bleeding asked by Shawn
A: We do not suggest washing the fabrics but if you so you will also want to wash the top so they shrink the same way. If you choose to wait until the quilt is completed to wash we suggest washing with color catchers or Retayne.
