It stated it was a cotton, but feels more like silk. I intend to use most of it for a backing and the rest as part of the quilt block. It did not work well with the cotton fabric I was using. I had to purchase additional fabric for my blocks.

This was a silky texture that doesn't work well with cotton fabrics. Very disappointing. I'll have to buy something else.
