The 10 x 10 were not cut on grain and many were 9 7/8 i stead of 10 inches.

disappearing hourglass

I am making the disappearing hourglass with the Buzzworthy 10-inch squares and the simply white batiks solid white stacks. I watched the tutorial with Jennie and learned how to make the 4 half-square triangles. I started making quilts because of the pandemic and I am self-taught by watching Jennie's tutorials. Yell her thank you.

Some were not cut square. That was the idea in buying precut, hoping they were cut better than I could. Very disappointed!!!

When I bought a black batik layer cake (different manufacturer) they were truly batiks. I was expecting the same with this purchase but was disappointed.These were just plain white. Kona cotton would have been a better choice for my quilt.
