Fusible batting

I was excited to try batting that I could simply iron-on, but it really didn’t work that great. The bond was too easily peeled off. Because it’s fusible on only one side, I still had to pin baste my quilt. Didn’t save any time or steps. The batting itself is pretty nice, 80/20 cotton/poly, good weight and loft.

A dream to use.

This is the easiest batting to use that I have found. The batting has an even texture and does not bunch when spread out. The fusible side bonds well and makes it much easier to pin baste the top without having to be concerned about bunching on the quilt back. I just wish it was made in larger sizes than twin.

One side only

Good for quilt as you go or other one-sided project because it is fusible on one side only. This fact is not clear in the description. The only clue is the word “or” when you read the label.

It is a dream to work with.

Never used 80/20 batting before. And never used fusible batting before. Making strip table runners and it’s perfect for the table runners. Much better than 100% cotton which is often too bulky. Will be buying more when it goes back on sale.

Dream Fusible Batting

I've never used fusible batting before. I laid it on the backside of the quilt top and was surprised how smooth and wrinkle free it was. A+ on this product. I ordered another one to have on hand.
