Quilt Backs - Feather Meandering White 108" Wide Backing

This product worked just fine. It was a new challenge for me. To prepare my quilt for machine quilting, I first pin basted and quilted the blocks on the top side in the ditch to prevent the top from bunching up during free motion quilting. These steps worked perfectly. No bunching or pleats! The blue lines washed off in one wash. I was able to iron the backing prior to quilting. I did a small test prior to quilting as I was nervous that ironing might set the blue ink permanently....all in all...

I loved this. I paired it with another king size backing and had a quick quilt. I would love for this to be available in different patterns and colors. The markings washed out cleanly and easily.

I have used the backing for 2 good sized bed quilts and I loved the feather pattern. It was easy to follow. I quilted it on my Janome domestic machine. I have been free motioning for sometime, and have had to do a lot of marking so this was a wonderful change to have it ready to quilt. I hope to see more patterns and colors, especially cream. Jenny, let us know if you get more.

Longarm quilting was a breeze ! To use this pattern and never quilted from the back before was easy as long as I chose the right quilt pattern.

This was amazing! I just finished free motion quilting a queen sized quilt on my Janome Horizon and it turned out beautiful! Sandwich as normal then flip it over, repin it and quilt from the back. At first this felt odd but then it was so freeing to just follow the lines and not have to think where am I going next and what do pattern do I do to fill this area. It turned out gorgeous and the blue lines washed out as the washing machine was filling. The backing is sturdy but nice and soft after...

I can't draw or even doodle, so I'm lousy at free-motion quilting. This backing is a life saver.

This was the second time purchasing this backing. I loved using it previously and it worked beautifully for finishing off my quilt on my machine. I washed the quilt after stitching and binding to remove the markings.
