"I eyed this iron for a while but was hesitant to spend so much money on an iron. However, I've recently increased my quilting activities and my old iron started having pieces falling off (it was over 20 years old, so I couldn't blame it). I decided to bite the bullet and buy this iron and haven't been sorry. I had a full on 2 hour ironing session with this the first time out of the box and couldn't have been happier how easy and nice it was to use. I love the large plate size to work on large quilt areas. I also love the auto up/down when grasping the handle. I had to lift the iron far less than normal which saved so much effort!"

getting used to new iron

Very expensive. Loved my old Rowenta, but the water reservoir is leaking. All new Rowenta's have an auto shutoff after 8 minutes. 8 minutes!!! So I decided to try the Oliso. It glides nicely. Not sure if I understand the steam settings. Not sure if I understood about turning it off. Not sure if I want to dump the water out every time I turn it off and pull the plug, as sometimes I come back to sew later in the day. And I sew almost every day. Seems to work well so far

The iron seems to work well so far. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that the dial is gray and it makes it very difficult to see the heat setting on the dial. There was much more contrast on the old one which had a white dial. Higher contrast is always more important than “style”. Also, I know that they are in style now but I don’t know why it has to have an insect on it. If I could peel it off, I would. Thank you.

FANTASTIC! LOVE IT!

Great instructions. Very complete, easy to understand, well written, and very complete. I injured my right upper arm and shoulder several years ago and just the act of setting my old iron up was painful. Being able to just let go really helps. So thankful that this iron does not spit all over when I want to use the steam feature.

Love everything about it!

I kove how fast it heats up! Love the 360 degree cord! Love the length of the cord! Easy to refill and just plain tap water! Easy dial..looked at it once and knew to turn it all the way to cotton. If I had to find anything negative about it, I would just say I wish the red light turned off when I turn the iron off. It stays lite, and my hubby thinks I've left the iron on all the time.
