Missouri Star large orange pill template.

The large orange peel template was easier to hold onto than I thought it would be. I am happy to have this new tool. I made two small quilts. One from scraps and the other from some flannel. I cannot wait to see it quilted. Thank you Jenny for your tutorials! It really makes me want to make several of the same thing because it is so fun and fast.

Orange peel Template

Wow is it ever big. Some howI thought it would smaller! I just wanted to make a poinsetta for a table runner, but this will work on a larger scale!

10" Orange Peel Template

Same nice quality as the 5" orange peel template. I use a rotating cutting mat and I stick little sandpaper dots on my template to help hold it in place. I was able to purchase on sale AND got free shipping,too!

Large orange peel template

I followed your tutorial using a layer cake, however I cut (2) 2-1/2" squares from leftover fabric of each layer cake square. No waste!! I then snowballed the 2 corners of 10" square I fused/appliqued the orange peel fabric to. In sewing the blocks together, i have a scrappy setting square alternating. Hopefully will get a photo to you! Thank you, Mary Eggert
