I like the intensity of the colors more in person than in the MSQC product photo, which makes it look much more pastel than it is. What really surprised me though about this fabric is that it feels almost satiny, like a sateen. Perhaps it is a sateen and I just didn't catch that in the product description. I hope that characteristic is lasting and not the result of a treatment that's going to wash out. Time will tell.

I used the backing to complete a Jen Kingwell pattern. I made the quilt from fabrics from my mother’s clothing. Lots of textures, lots of colors.other Kaffe fabrics were used to enhance hers. The backing was absolutely perfect because the colors matched the front of the quilt.
