We’ve changed this pattern from complicated to easy as pie! If you can make half-square triangles and 4-patches, you can have this quilt brightening up any room in the house in a flash. NOTE: THIS PATTERN REQUIRES 4 PACKAGES OF 5" SQUARES (CHARM PACKS) RATHER THAN THE 3 THAT IS STATED ON THE BACK OF THE PATTERN
The instruction guide was so helpful. It is a pretty quilt and I was able to use fabric from my stash , so it is a guilt free quilt as well,

Eye catching
I love this pattern and paired with the Forget me Not charm pack makes very colorful quilt blocks. The only negative is the directions are a little confusing for a beginning quilter. The second and third blocks went together easier than the first block as the pattern directions get more familiar.

Accomplishing this pattern
I tried this pattern in about three years ago and did not have good success so I am trying again. I have a fall color and I have a spring color that I am working on and I am getting it squared good and I am getting the points to match good And it’s a fun pattern to do

Great pattern with 1 flaw
I love the ease of putting this together. It looks very complicated, but is very easy. However, there should be an addition to the pattern. In step 2, it should specify the number of print squares and the corresponding # of background squares to use for the star blocks. In the same way, when starting the 4 patch blocks, the # of print and # of background squares should be specified. Yes, I could figure it out from the final # of each block, but that's doing the math backwards. One way to do...

love the pattern
Love the pattern. I am using it now for a wall hanging and will use it in a quilt that I have the squares cut to be sewn together. Thank you for the many patterns that I have bought

Hunter's Star
A couple of days ago, I w thought "what were you thinking as I started making the star blocks. Now that I have some made and on the design wall, I love,, love, love it! It is not a scrappy design but just 2 fabrics. I used Kyoto Gardens Floral metallic and a grunge I think is fog. The gray blue of the flooral and the grunge look fabulous together. Great pattern. Clear and precise directions.

Hunters star quilt pattern
I love the pattern! I have not completed the quilt top yet. 448 HSTs take quite a while to complete, and I can only spend about 2 hours a day on it so it will me some time. I love Missouri Star, Jenny and all her girls. I have always been satisfied with everything i have ordered from your store.
