This quilt was made for my good friend who is giving up her independence and moving in with her daughter, as she is losing her sight. She picked the K Fassett fabrics. I made it a lap size quilt. She loves it.

Missouri Quilt pattern

So far I love it. I’m in the process of quilting it now. When it is finished, I’ll send a picture. I’m making a king size so I will be adding to the size. It is for my granddaughters wedding.

Lovely with large floral prints

I made two quilts from this pattern a long time ago in a class at In the Beginning store. They are lovely. The key I think is getting a print with large flowers with lots of white space so that you can position the floral squares with the white toward the outside edges of the quilt. Then the pattern seems to float the florals. I used decorator floral prints with very large flowers. It is a pretty pattern that comes together well. Garden twist Pattern

I’ve made this quilt in the past for a grand baby and loved the pattern. One caveat: follow instructions for the squares EXACTLY, or they won’t line up correctly. Other than that, loved the quilt and ordering from this company was easy and delivery was prompt.

I love the "movement" of this pattern. I am a decent quilter, but this seemed slightly out of my expertise, but after reading the instructions, I realy believe I an make this happen
