Much nicer than the expected!

I don’t know why I thought this set would be small, but it actually comes in a lovely tin about the size of the ones that you purchase Danish cookies in! There were nice size quantities of the thread as well. My daughter, who hi had requested this for Christmas, was also surprised by the size and delighted with the gift. I’m including a photo so that you can see my hand holding the tin for comparison.

Great fun!

I supplied the fabric, the kit gave me everything I needed to embroider! Some designs are more challenging than others, but none are too difficult. There are enough designs for a quilt, lots of dish towels, or anything else one would want to embroider.

I am currently enjoying the butterflies and greatly appreciate the detailed explanation of how each stitch is done. I am a big fan of the peel and stitch. I purchased a package to transfer designs for another project. I was very pleased with how quickly it dissolved from completed designs.

Very pretty and useful

Garden Friends Embroidery Kit is very pretty with a great variety of embroidery patterns and gorgeous perle threads. It includes directions on how to make the various stitches, needles, needle threader and embroidery scissors. Put together so nicely. I felt like a little kid again opening up my special birthday gift! I can’t wait to dig in and get started!

What a surprise!

When I opened the box I was so surprised and excited with the contents. It had everything I needed and even a needle threader. Now the hard part is to decide on the colors and which pattern to use!!

AWESOME! I could type a bunch of fantastic words about this, but Awesome fits the best. A kit that actually gives you everything to finish the kit. Beautiful pictures, very nice thread, a needle threader, a needle magnet, the hoop and instructions for each of the picture’s. I bought the flowers tin also. It is a lovely kit. But, as a long time embroiderer, some of the areas that call for a satin stitch are too large and the stitches will not stay flat after being washed. Using embroidery thread with a long/short stitch would be better. Some of the colors are difficult to differentiate looking at the pattern. Listing stitch directions and what to do first would help new students.

I love everything about this embroidery kit. The presentation and the keepsake tin are reminiscent of my childhood. The kit contains everything you need to get started except the fabric. So very thoughtful and detailed.
