Pretty Simple

Easy to piece, and mostly the instructions are good. I knew to clip the points so the corners would be sharp, but I didn't know to clip the inside angles to reduce the bulk before turning. Adding that info would probably be helpful to others. Just sayin'. The pattern lends itself to any charm pack. I made it in shades of green solids--hand dyed by my uber talented sister.

Looks easy and fun to make

I have not used the Zigzag Table Runner pattern just yet as I am completing another project first. I will admit after reading the pattern and envisioning how it will look with the charm pack I have I am tempted to put the other project aside. I am in my 80's and but not afraid to try something new. I've watched many of your videos and they have been very helpful. Thank you for all that you do for the quilting world.

Not what I was hoping to get.

I loved the pattern and design. I was hoping for more in depth instructions. The related video has great instructions and I was hoping some of them were captured here. They were not. I will be making this quilt with my laptop running the U Tube video. Just disappointed.

Easy and So Pretty

I made this table runner using a charm pack and yardage for the backing. It came together quickly and easily, but make sure to keep the picture handy so you arrange the rows correctly. I love my new table runner!

Quick and Fun runner great for gifts

This table runner goes together easily following the pattern and the tutorial. The tutorial has several tips that are not in the pattern. I've made so many Zig Zag runners that I don't even need to use the pattern anymore. These Zig Zag runners make excellent gifts. I usually make mine with all but 5 charm squares from the pack. I use the extra charm squares, plus some scraps from my stash, to make 4 mug rugs that are 5x7 unfinished.
