Great pattern

Very simple pattern with lovely results. Instructions are easy to follow and the quilt went together quickly using jelly rolls. This is one I will make again.

This was easy to get the pattern. It looks quite simple. Someone asked me to make a super king size quilt out of black/brown/beige/gold. Ugh not my colors but I believe this is one of those daily simple to put together quilts. I’ve heard it said it’s not how long you spend on the quilt but the thought that counts.

Great Looking Quilt

When I saw the tutorial, I wanted to get the pattern . I will make the quilt later. I love the MSQC patterns , they are always well explained and with the tutorial, you can’t go wrong.

Summer in the Park

It’s a lovely pattern and could be done in a number of styles of fabric. An exact quarter inch seam and precisely cut strips are critical, otherwise the tube formed from the strips will not lie flat. Also, the blocks end up with all bias edges. It’s slow going to sew the blocks together carefully without stretching. Jenny makes it look very easy in the tutorial.

Innovative Strip Pattern

This pattern is a fun & interesting way to use 2 1/2 in strips to make a quilt. It’s very fast with precut strips. However, the directions should include that once the triangles are cut, the blocks may need to be trimmed to 8 1/4” in order to achieve a 7 3/4 finished block.

The pattern is so bright and cheerful and makes me feel happy. My colours are blue pink and yellow. Looks great!

I'm already planning on making a second quilt using this pattern. I used left over fabric from previous project and worked out great. Next quilt, I'll use jelly roll.
