Quilting Product Description

The Creative Grids® 45mm rotary cutter is designed with you in mind. The sleek red metal body adds weight to the cutter so less pressure is required when cutting fabric. The cushioned, comfort grip is designed to fit your hand, reducing slips and muscle fatigue. When the button is in the center, the guard fully protects the blade when not in use. Move the button a quarter circle to the left or right to expose the blade for right and left handed users. The exposed blade is specifically designed to extend beyond the guard to work with the Creative Grids® slotted rulers. To replace the blade, simply pull down on the tab to release it and add a new blade.

The Creative Grids® 45mm rotary cutter comes in a protective zippered case that includes plenty of room to store additional blades and notions.

Buy one.

I LOVE this cutter. I have many cutters to include Olfa and Martelli. I like Martelli but it is only one handed and I am quite ambidextrous when it comes to cutting. This tool is heavy but that means I don’t push when cutting. The blade is set into the tool more so it is more protected. I have spend a small fortune on blades as I had to replace them constantly. Not this one, I have cut at least 10 yards of material with this cutter and still have the same blade. Amazing. My hands don’t get...

Best rotary cutter

I have tried Olfa, Martelli, Kai and True Cut but this Creative Grids is the best. I tried it with 4 layers of cotton and it didn’t miss a thread. It is much heavier than the others and I think that is part of the reason it cuts so well.

Great rotary cutter

I love the weight and find that I don't abuse my hand and wrist nearly as much. I'm able to cut left or right handed and this makes it easy to switch from one to the other and get great cuts.

Game Changer

I love this rotary cutter. I no long feel that I need to manhandle the instrument and it enables me to smoothly cut through several layers of fabric. It will reduce wear on my shoulder and blade wear.

I did a thing

I have been changing all of my rulers to Creative Grids and decided to spend the money to buy the cutter and case. It is a life changer. It really works well and I love that it comes with a case. I did buy an extra case for the times that I want to take more than one cutter with me to retreats. They are not cheap but worth it.

Fantastic cutter

So glad I invested in this cutter. It’s well made of metal with no plastic parts or springs to break. Changing the blade is easy.
