Was a challenge because of all the layers of fabric to sew through. I waited for someone else to finish hers before starting mine. The pattern instructions were not the easiest to follow and her pictures lacked clarity. I studied lots of photos of other completed purses so I know mine is made the way it was intended. I love the result. Great to take for an evening out when you don’t want to carry much.

Nice pattern, but a tough one for me. I am not as good as I had hoped. LOL

Well, I guess I should have decided to make something else, because it didn't turn out like it shows on the pattern. I think I just stink st sewing projects. I tried.

Clever design, but...

The instructions were not written as well as they could have been. I'm an experienced bag maker and was able to work out the more confusing steps, but I shouldn't have had to. There are lots of pictures, but they're never of the more intricate and complicated bits of the pattern. I was also not best pleased to find the video tutorial costs nearly 3 times the price of the pattern. And I hope someday to find out why the pattern instructions and the photos of the finished wallet show one of the three credit card pocket sets installed upside down. Because that's exactly what happens if you follow the pattern to the letter. Although I did end up with a fun and versatile wallet it wasn't a great experience. I just can't see myself buying from this designer again and I cannot recommend them to anyone else.

Folded Wallet

The pattern is easy to understand and the pieces have accurate measurements. The hardware for the purse/wallet make a very finished product. I made two wallets and gave them to my daughters. They immediately filled them, wore them out shopping and were quite happy with the finished product. This instructions could have included a sheet of tabs with the names of each piece that could be cut apart and pinned to the pattern pieces as they were cut. I did this with sticky notes. i did find it difficult to attach the gussets. But the gussets although optional are important if one is carrying a cellphone so that it doesn't slip out.
