    A bit disappointed

    The quality of this backing was not the usual I have come to expect from my many previous orders from MSQ. It will be used, most likely by our church quilters but not for the project I had planned. I was trying to complete the striking periwinkle quilt taught at the Doan Girls Retreat a couple years ago. The fabric supplied there was much richer than this yardage.

    This material has a good thickness for quilting. Looks like it will hold up fine. Did not appear to shrink much when pre washed. Very bright blender, but might make a great backing.

    It speaks to me

    To be honest, I don’t have a specific project in mind for this fabric but it’s so beautiful, I had to have it and will find a pattern in the future. It’s even more stunning in person. Great quality.
