Jelly Roll Rug Tutorial
Jenny demonstrates how to make a beautiful jelly roll rug using 2.5-inch strips of precut fabric (jelly rolls). For the smaller oval rug, she chose a "Kisses" Rolie Polie by Doodlebug Designs for Riley Blake. The larger circle rug was made with Kaffe Classics - Peacock Design Roll by Kaffe Fassett for FreeSpirit Fabrics. This project also requires strips of batting. Jenny used Bosal Katahdin 100% Organic Cotton Precut 2 1/2" Batting in this free quilting tutorial.
TIP: When sewing your jelly roll rug, be sure to iron every 3-4 rows to prevent waving and rippling of the rug.
