When quilting smaller items, getting flat layers has always been a challenge. I pin or spray and it is either too messy or not the result I hoped for. Free Fuse sprinkles on like salt and stays where you put it. I needed to work in stages to fit my project on my ironing board but that was not a problem. I did both machine (boarders) and hand quilting (outlining) on this wall hanging and I was pleased at how they both turned out! I will definitely use this again.

Description
Semi-permanent fusible powder for appliqué, creating fusible quilt batting, fusible stabilizer and much more. Just sprinkle the powder over the base material, place the second piece of fabric over the top of the powdered surface, cover with parchment paper or teflon pressing sheet, press with iron for a least 4 seconds for the bond to set.

Just what I needed

Love this product!
I have used this on several quilts and love it! The latest quilt was a 63"×63" quilt. Works wonderfully and not nearly as messy as spray baste or painful as pins that stick me.
