Exclusive Missouri Star Jenny TG1600 ProPlus Oliso Smart Iron

Swish swish glide glide! Yes, just like ice skating on the smoothest of glass! So happy with my “Jenny” Oliso! I’ve had an Oliso for about 10 years and decided to treat myself to an upgrade. So happy I did as the improved sole plate makes a world of difference I didn’t know I was missing. Have always loved the up/down feature… if you’re not familiar you are seriously missing out ! ;)

Super terrific, never loved pressing and ironing so much. Heck, I never knew I could! Best investment you can make if you sew/quilt. Good price, too! I missed the “great price” of $155.99 you had recently, which would’ve saved me $44. Hmm, but not really, I just would have spent it on more fabric anyway. Point: Buy this iron at any price …. It’s an investment you will never regret.

I didn’t “need” a new iron but this one is my reward for completing a beautiful (was it one million pieces?) Edyta Sitar quilt. As I write this my quilt top is in line at Missouri Star, resting after its journey from California, awaiting the special touch of a talented long arm quilter. Then back to me for binding and another touch or two from my new iron! My hands & wrists ache from the many fine movements of piecing & sewing. And now I was working on what turned out to be the happiest laptop...

I had the unfortunate experience of having the initial replacement iron delivered to the wrong address (as was evident by the photo sent by the delivery service). No recourse through them, they directed me back to Missouri Star, where a lovely woman heard my sad tale and set me right up with another iron....which was delivered to me this time :-). I am ironing away, thank you Missouri Star :-)

I have been looking at these Irons for a few years and couldn’t make myself spend the money. I fell in love with the design of this one and finally bought it. I couldn’t be happier. I have owned numerous irons in my 75 years. This is by far the best iron EVER!!!! I was afraid it would be too heavy for me. My iron glides so easily over my fabrics. It is user friendly; the instructions are so easy to follow. I never dreamed I could have this much fun ironing!! I LOVE my new iron. I love it that it’s easy on my wrist and my shoulder!! It’s amazing and I feel so lucky as I had gift cards that bought it for me! My family knew I wanted it so for my 70th birthday they made it happen🥰 I love it matches a glass I use too!

I was a little skeptical about this iron until I tried it…WOW…I absolutely love this iron!! All I do is pick it up and iron my quilting fabric or piecing project put the iron down flat and it automatically lifts without my having to turn it up like most irons…this makes ironing very easy!

I have owned 3 other oliso irons. The first one lasted 5 years. The second stopped heating after 3 years. The third one no longer has steam. I got the Jenny one hoping it would be better. The steam lever is really hard to move, and I’m worried that it might break altogether.
