Wonderful striped batik
The two best things about batiks is that they are very closely woven and therefore don't ravel easily; and the other thing is that the colors are equally rich on both sides of the fabric, so they are easily utilized in quilt piecing. The lemon stripe was used on the outer border diamonds of my quilt ( and other stripes used throughout the whole of the starburst. Most were batiks.)
