Meh.
Many of the squares were smaller than 10". One color was 9.25" square. Fabric has a loose weave and is very stretchy. It feels nice to the touch but I know I don't want to work with this again. Finished the quilt OK but squaring things up was more difficult than necessary due to the size discrepancies.

A: Any kind that your machine likes as far as brands go. I use the Missouri Star 50 WT Cotton King Spool Thread Stainless Steel. I like this color, it has a little shine to it and it pulls the color from the fabric instead of being bright and bold against the colors of flannel.
