Fun to Make Braids

It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to start the braid and it was my first time using one of the MSQC templates (easy). I also moved from Tennessee to Iowa and making the placemats is my “Move-In” project because I found all the component parts which was not that easy when you think about all the things necessary that have to come out of boxes, have plugs, etc. Would you believe the last thing I found were my beloved fabric shears?

The pattern worked out nicely. My daughter wanted beige, plain placemats. I liked how they look and so does she.

I loved the pattern, but new to piecing. Watched the video and had 6-8 feet of Lexi braid in 30 minutes. Easy as can be.
