Look at these stars twinkle! Made from 10” print squares, the stars dance across the quilt like stars in the sky! The Missouri Star Mini Block Stars pattern gives instructions for piecing 8” finished squares to create a 67” x 67” quilt. It includes a bonus charm pack-friendly 38” x 42” project, too!
Finished size: 67" x 67" Pattern for 10" squares and yardage
I love this pattern and all patterns that I purchase from MSQC. They are so easy to understand and follow. I’m working on this quilt now and it’s looking beautiful. Can’t wait to complete it. Thank you

Mini Block Stars Pattern
Excellent. Good directions so far. One issue with the pattern is that they use one fabric for all of the edge blocks. After making all of the blocks different, why would you make all of the edge blocks the same? I realize it was because the layer cake did not go that far, but a few fat quarters would probably solve that issue for more experienced quilters.

I may be too much of a beginner for this one
I miss more precise instructions about measurements. I certainly do not have the gift to let it fit together without using rulers . Had to take apart a lot of my squares.

It was a challenge to get the pattern to print out, but i managed eventually. I find that i need to refer to patterns frequently to avoid making silly mistakes, and a print version is easier to glance at while I'm piecing or cutting. So far, the piecing is going well.
