Lovely unique quilt

I loved making something unique and different. Recommendations- vary the books widths- get crazy with this 😅, there is no right or wrong size but vary it up! and I wouldn’t do more than one 1 inch book per fabric sheet/pattern (maybe one 1 inch book every other pattern). I wish I had staggered my books more dramatically. Nevertheless turned out beautiful.

Download pattern is easy to understand. The quilt is still a work in progress .. but so far, thrilled with the results. Thanks to the MSQC facebook posts … I’ve come up with a lot of great block ideas to personalize the quilt! Waiting on the fabric paper for a final photo block … then will begin to finish sewing the blocks together!!

My favorite bookcase

The download was awesome. I hung the completed “bookcase” in my sewing room. I’ve had many complements on it. I used Kaffe Fosset’s jelly roll for the books along with a few scraps in my stash.
