Hobbs Quilt Batting

Experience the joy of quilting with Hobbs batting! When you’re building your quilt sandwich, Hobbs batting has lots of options for filling the middle! Hobbs quilt batting comes in a wide variety of fibers and lofts for every quilt application.

Hobbs Heirloom batting is the cornerstone of Hobbs batting products. It is available in an 80/20 cotton blend, and in both 100 percent cotton and wool. Cotton blend batting is easy to handle, particularly for hand quilting. Hobbs cotton batting is a good choice when you want the look of antique quilts, and Hobbs wool batting provides exceptional insulation without a lot of weight.

Another type of batting Hobbs offers is its Hobbs Tuscany line. Like its Heirloom line, Tuscany is a premium batting. The difference between Hobbs Tuscany vs Heirloom is that products in the Tuscany batting line are cut, folded, and packaged by hand, creating few or no wrinkles and creases, and very high loft in high-loft products.

Because of their exceptional quality, Hobbs Tuscany wool batting and Hobbs Tuscany cotton wool blend batting are favorites for show quilts. In addition to wool and cotton/wool blends, Hobbs Tuscany quilt batting also is available in bleached and unbleached cotton, as well as silk.
