How do you use double cotton gauze? The main thing to keep in mind is it does shrink quite a bit on the first wash, so do prewash it before you use it. And how to wash gauze fabric? Just wash on gentle in cold and tumble dry low. After it comes out of the dryer, lay it flat to cool down so it will require less pressing. Of course, double gauze cotton fabric will crinkle up more once it’s washed, so press it before you cut it, and you’ll be in great shape! Be sure to press, not iron, as it can distort the fabric. Pin it well before you sew and you’re set!
